It was good buy. So far this thermos has performed admirably. It keeps drinks cold for hours and coffee hot for hours.
:[ So I checked on here and read quite a bit of reviews before making this purchase and I am so happy I did. That's 10 hours later and it was still hot. I felt bad. :]
Today he left the house at 5am and around 3pm he called to tell me that he just had his last cup of coffee and it was still hot. He drives a truck all day and usually works from 12 to 14 hours a day. He loves everything about it. It actually got to where he wouldn't even take any coffee with him in the mornings. He has a 4 cup coffee maker and usually will drink one pot here at the house using his mug and then always wants some to take with him for work. All he was using was a big plastic cup for his coffee to take with him in the mornings. Sometimes he'd have to stop somewhere and buy some. My fiance loves this thermos.
it's durable, it's a perfect size, it holds quite a bit, it keeps your hot drinks hot for a long time and he's saving money since he no longer has to stop and buy coffee anywhere. My fiance is usually up and out the door by 5 in the morning or earlier. Of course, that's not going to keep anything hot nor warm for too long. He thanks me all the time for getting it for him.
Great size thermos for one person. I gave one of these to each of my two adult children, and they have raved about them, reporting that their coffee remained hot (not warm) for over six hours. Very sleek design.
It probably would have stayed warm longer, but he drank it all. Well, a morning and afternoon out in 30 degree weather was nothing for this thermos. Highly HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to keep drinks warm or cold (although, we haven't tried that approach yet). I bought this for my husband to keep his coffee warm all morning long while on the boat. BIG FAN. He left the house around 6am and the coffee was still warm at 2pm.
I was so happy with the product, that I went out and bought myself a 16 ounce one for keeping my coffee hot all day at work. Fishing in December, on a lake, in a boat, in Virgina can be very very cold. We did as instructed and first filled the thermos with boiling water and let stand for about 10 minutes, then added the coffee. It is incredible.
Does what it says on the box: Keeps drinks hot and doesn't leak. Little bigger than expected but otherwise all good.
